Christmas hours
The last club night is Monday 12th December. All sessions run as normal up until the end of this week (until Friday 16th)
The week before Christmas we are running training sessions on Monday (19th), Tuesday (20th) and Thursday (22nd) 7-8pm each night.
There will be no sessions between Christmas and New Year.
All sessions restart as normal (including the Thursday / Friday club night) from Tuesday 3rd January onwards.

Senior gala
This Monday night (14th November) is the senior gala.
There will be no widths sessions on this night (no swimming between 5.30 - 6.30).
All length swimmers should attend 6.30 to 9pm (or earlier if the events and presentations are finished) to compete in the club's internal gala. All swimmers compete as part of a team and every participant will receive a medal.
Unfortunately we can only allow one spectator per swimmer because of the space limitations on the poolside. Please try your best to attend to support your team and your club. There is no session charge for this night.
Half term hours
We are holding training sessions on Monday and Thursday 7-8pm. There are no other sessions in the half term week. Club night will be on as normal on Monday 31st October.
Awards night
We had to cancel the awards night presentation in June at the last minute due to a burst water main at the school. We're happy to announce that it has been rescheduled for Monday 19th September. On this night there will be no swimming sessions, and all swimmers who gained an award will have it presented to them (along with a session award for each session and overall trophies). We'll be starting at 6.30pm in the school theatre.
If you're not sure whether you have an award to collect ask your teacher, but in general everyone who attended a session in May will have something to get (including our older swimmers who have already completed the Challenge awards schemes, because this is the first year that we have run the Swimfit awards).
Club restart
Monday 5th September is the first club night back after the summer. All sessions will run as normal from this day.
Pool closed Monday 8 august.
The pool will be closed Monday 8th of August for routine maintance.
Pool closed
The pool is closed today (Thursday 21st July) so no sessions will run tonight.
Friday night
There will be no sessions on this Friday (8th July) because of the summer party.
Summer holiday hours
There will be no swimming on the last Friday night before the holidays (22nd July)
Through the holidays we will be running lengths sessions on Mondays and Thursdays 7-8pm (excluding the bank holiday Monday). Anyone in a lengths session (thats anyone that normally swims from 6.30 onwards on Mondays) are welcome to attend. Payment will be taken when we return after the holiday.
The first club night back is Monday 5th September when all sessions return to normal.
Pool re-open
The pool is open again so sessions will run as normal for the rest of this week.
Awards night postponed
Awards night has now been postponed until after the summer holidays.
On the original date (20th June) the main water pipe feeding the school burst, resulting in the entire site being shut down for the day. We have been unable to reschedule it before the summer break because of teacher's holidays and theatre availability.
All certificates, badges, trophies and session awards will now be presented some time in September (hopefully) - notices will be put out as soon as we know.
Awards night
A date to put into your diaries now - awards night will be held on Monday 20th June from 6.30pm - 8.30pm in the Theatre. All swimmers who were members of the club before the start of May will have an award to collect unless your teacher has advised otherwise (check with your teacher if you're unsure).
Tynemouth Gala - 14 May 2011
We are accepting entries from Team Members for the Tynemouth ASC Spring Gala, which takes place at Tynemouth Pool on Saturday 14 May 2011.
Half term holiday
Training sessions will run on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights 7-8pm in the half term holiday week (starting Monday 21st February).
If you normally swim in a lengths session (session 4 and above) you are welcome to attend.
Reminder: ASA Fees
All swimmers are reminded that ASA fees are now past due, so if you haven't paid yet you must bring it on the first Monday night back (28th February) otherwise you will no longer be able to swim with the club.
Thursday night sessions
Thursday night sessions will be back to normal after the half term holiday (with all teaching, pre-competitive and training sessions back on).
